Yeouya has 2.32 million members, and its front page is an ad board for clinics and companies

According to WikiDoc's review as of November 1, 2026, 16 of the 20 pinned notices and must-reads at the top of the front page of Yeouya, a Naver cafe with 2.32 million members and more than 6.8 million posts, were posts by clinics and companies. Its menus hold 21 boards named after clinics and 116 brand trial boards. The cafe appears to be built to make big money from clinic and company advertising.

01What happened

Yeouya is a Naver cafe that opened on December 15, 2004. As of its front page on November 1, 2026, it has 2,322,523 members and 6,823,657 posts. Naver marks it as a "representative popular cafe".

At the very top of the front page sit 20 pinned notices and must-reads. Only 4 of them are cafe rules written by the managers. The other 16 are posts by clinics and companies.

02The menus are ad boards too

The menu [Yeouya plastic surgery info & columns] has 21 boards named after clinics: DA, NANA, TS, Made Young, View, Siwoo, Geurida, Eight, EPIC, Grace, Bethenew, Cocoline, VN, Lesarts, Dress, Uline, Iyu Oral, Yun Hair, Banal, Min&Min and Rium Clinic. Next to each name is the surgery that clinic is said to be good at.

The menu [Writing event reviews] has 116 trial boards for cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical brands, with names such as Rejuran, Avène, Mediheal, IOPE, LG H&H, Hite Jinro, 365mc and Dongkook Pharm. There is also a separate "Clinic events" board and a "Partnerships and trial inquiries" sign-up form.

04Why it matters

The first thing a person sees when they come to Yeouya to choose a clinic is not members' reviews but clinic events and discount prices. The cafe appears to be built to make big money from clinic and company advertising. A cafe like this has little reason to stop promotion accounts that push clinics in the comments. DA Plastic Surgery, which has its own board, is also first in WikiDoc's count of Yeouya promotion accounts: 99 accounts pushed it in more than 10 posts.
